Night Guard
A night guard is a dental device which will be placed in the mouth on the top of the teeth to help avoid any grinding and/or clenching, which is known as Bruxism.
Bruxism
Bruxism is a movement disorder of the masticatory system that is characterized among others by teeth grinding and clenching during sleep as well as during wakefulness. Bruxism has prevalence in the general adult population of about 10% and is usually regarded as one of the possible causative factors for temporomandibular pain, tooth wear in the form of attrition and loss of dental implants.
